What was the highlight of Hotel Atlântico Tower
Staff was horrible.
Staff was horrible. The food was really bad. The room and swimming pool is dirty and on the top of that upon your check out you were asked if I drank some water. It was 4 bottles of water standing in the refrigerator with nothing else in it, no prices, nothing. So I ended paying for overpriced water.

Pity pool doesn’t have lounge chairs The elevator takes about 10 mins to go up or down to high level floors at busy times. Very annoying!!

Maybe a 1.5 star. I wouldn’t wish this place to my biggest enemy
Nothing. I booked a day early (11 June)as I was arriving late(early morning 12 June) to ensure my room would be ready after 22 hours flying. It wasn’t ready on the second day. They took all my money on arrivalfor 2 nights in a double room with double bed. When I got to my room it was a twin room and I told them and they said “yes we know we don’t have any?” I even have booking confirmation for this. I was told to leave and come back later(this happened several times). I only received a dirty double room at 9pm, the night before having to check out at 6am.also the bath mat on the new room was used and at 10pm the cleaners walked into my room to do the cleaning that should have been done before I arrived. It was costly and one of the worst experience as I had no where to keep my luggage and had to carry my things all round central Rio where it is very dangerous. The hotel even tried to make me feel guilty saying I was early for my “12 June booking” even though I paid from the 11th. They didn’t apologise or offer anything but we’re happy to take my money. I wouldn’t mind if they said “sorry we double booked “ or if they offer me something to compensate as they messed up- why should I suffer?! I’m still waiting for booking.com to sort this out....

Breakfast i was good, .
Breakfast i was good, ... but honestly, the location did not save the hotel, very bad. The pool is not like it's in the photos, there's no place to sunbathe
Honestly I leave a lot to be desired, the piece was good, but all the time there were problems with the connection to wifi, you had to leave the room to connect, at least 4 times at night. The shower, the hotel ran out of water, no one could give any explanation and we lost a day of tour, then no hot water came out, it was very unpleasant. There were only 3 very nice people who did their best to help, Luis, Gabriela and another who can not remember the name.
